Bowling with the Burnhams

We had a surprise party for Gideon while visiting the Burnhams and afterward, we all went bowling.

I love this expression on Gwendolyn. She lost interest in bowling pretty fast when it became clear that getting all the pins knocked down was tricky.

Bessa was great about helping all my kids bowl, especially while I was tied up with diaper changing, etc. And Brody was good about helping Bessa help everybody else.

New Year's Trip

Before moving out to Maryland, my mom and I took the kids up to Utah to see family. Dirk flew in to hang out with us for the weekend. I didn't have my camera out enough, as usual, but here are the highlights we documented:

The first order of business was sledding, and lots of it. I don't know when I have had so much fun.
