Finally cleaned out the fridge! It had been since before Christmas and it was ugly. I kept wiping down the outside to make myself feel better, but I went on a marathon Costco trip today and it was time. I love January in San Diego! I get all the New Year's brightness and hope without the depressing dark and cold to quash all my good resolutions.

Lucky! It's -20 (with wind chill) and school was canceled because of the cold. So just keep on enjoying that warm San Diego PERFECT weather!

Okay Naomi, We must totally be bosom buddies or something. I finally cleaned our fridge today! I had been procrastinating it for (seriously this is gross) like 6 months. Eric kept saying "It smells like something is dieing in here," every time he opened the door. It felt so good to finally get it done. Now if I can just get the courage to clean the basement. And did you hear how dang cold it is up here. You should be glad you left when you did. We seriously can't wait to leaves these winters forever.
I just got back from vacation in California, So nice an warm there. So cold here, and the leftover ice/snow is just sitting in dirty clumps all over.
I'm eavesdropping on your blog. I'm at Heather's and she has you as a fave on her site so I snooped. I spent quite a bit of time in SD when Ginger was ill as a teen and went to Scripps regularly. Loved it there too. Glad you're having a good life there. Good luck to Dirk on the bar. I think it's coming up fairly soon.
