Rounding out our week of big news, we just found out that Dirk passed the CA bar exam. I'm exhausted from a day of nerves and a surge of thrill and relief. I need to go lie down. Hip hip, HOORAY!

Naomi, that is good news. Dirk, congrats. The California bar is definitely a tough one, so I'm sure that is a big relief. I am praying Dirk finds a job quick. What a stressful time. I'm am sure it will all work out for you, it is just really unpleasant waiting for that to happen, eh.

Congrats on passing the bar! And, somehow things will work out with Dirk getting another job. Things always do when you're doing your best and doing what's right. My dad got laid off while I was in college and found a better job that he would've never been looking for if not. Same with my brother a few years ago. It may be a blessing in disguise.
And when are you leaving for Vegas? I was still planning on coming to see you someday....just haven't quite made it to San Diego yet.
